Day Treatment/Partial Hospitalization (PHP)
Day Treatment, or what many call “PHP” is an opportunity for the client to transition out of medical detox, stabilization, or Residential treatment to a less restrictive level of care allowing them to experience more independent living for a few hours a day after treatment. It is set up similarly to the Residential program during the day but is located at our Outpatient Offices. This program meets anywhere from 4-7 days a week starting at 8:30 am and lasting through the mid to late afternoon on some days. Insurance companies often use this program to allow clients to continue in a daytime, highly structured and therapeutically supported environment while allowing them to consider coupling with a Licensed Recovery Home instead of going back home. For many, this is an opportunity to gradually transition back to the community, some independent 12-step meetings, outings with known sponsors or 12-step members, and have some space to allow for more social connections in recovery.
