Why Cornerstone?

Our approach is completely flexible. If a client in a lower level of care is having a difficult time, instead of having to ask them to leave, we are easily able to move them up to a higher level of care without disrupting their experience with us. This ability is unlike many other treatment centers who generally need to move a client away from the newfound security they have discovered, if they are unable to manage with the level of care offered.

Rehabs in Mission Viejo

Cornerstone is one of the longest-running, most comprehensive, and effective addiction treatment centers in Southern California. If you are looking for a facility that provides detoxification, primary residential care, extended care, day treatment, day or evening outpatient programs, or licensed recovery homes, Cornerstone can help.

With our flexible approach, clients can easily transition to a higher level of care when needed. We prioritize patient comfort and security over anything else – something that sets us apart from other treatment centers where patients often need to leave the familiar environment if they require more intensive help.

We understand that providing effective care to individuals struggling with substance abuse disorder requires making them feel safe and secure. That’s why we offer continuous programs, staffed by familiar people who can provide consistent support as well as a sense of community among peers—all helping survivors find stability on their journey towards recovery.

Inpatient Rehab Mission Viejo

If you or someone you love is struggling with a mental health, substance use, or behavioral disorder and requires more intensive treatment than what outpatient services can offer but don’t need the level of care provided by inpatient hospitalization, then Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) may be the perfect solution.

Medical detox Mission Viejo

At Cornerstone, detoxing from alcohol and drugs is a journey of comfort and care. Our team of experienced addiction specialists offer 24/7 medical support alongside nursing supervision to help you through the process. We understand that recovering from an addiction can be difficult but our compassionate professionals will be there every step of the way, guiding you with kindness as you face this challenge in your life.

Intensive outpatient program

When someone doesn’t require or isn’t able to commit to our residential treatment programs, we offer an Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) tailored specifically for them. Cornerstone’s IOP is designed so that it provides the same level of recovery skills and therapy as in-person care while allowing patients the flexibility they need—setting, scheduling, etc.—to continue with their everyday life and circumstances.

Partial Hospitalization Program

A Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) offers an in-depth level of care for those suffering from mental, behavioral, and substance use illnesses that doesn’t necessitate a full hospitalization or residence at a treatment facility. This type of model is especially crucial when it comes to drug recovery since it provides the necessary support while people transition back into their bright and sober lives.

Extended Care

Cornerstone’s Extended Care Program is an invaluable resource for those who have recently completed drug and alcohol treatment, as it helps them to reintegrate back into life. In the past we’ve seen many clients finish detox and rehab with great optimism and hope; however, relapse can still occur in some cases – even tragically so. Our program seeks to bridge this gap by providing additional support throughout the transition phase of recovery.

Sober Living

Cornerstone’s licensed recovery homes are a safe haven for adults aged 18 and over. Each home consists of six residents, and each has an on-site manager to address any housing issues that may surface. We highly value our client’s independence; thus we encourage you to come and go as your schedule permits. Cornerstone sober living is meant to help further the treatment process in a positive manner by providing structured care with freedom mixed into it.

Thank you Cornerstone. My Case Manger Juliet gave me the guidance and support I needed to begin my recovery. The staffs compassion and knowledge of addiction treatment gave me the tools for recovery. The continued support of the Alumni program led by Lauren and aftercare case mgmt. by Tom & countless others has helped me achieve 9 months of sobriety as of today. Something I never believed possible. It does work if you work it, one day at a time.

BEST DECISION OF MY LIFE! I called Cornerstone on my own accord when I knew I needed help and could not detox or handle my alcoholism on my own anymore. Going to a rehab facility is a scary thought, but once I arrived all fear and anxiety disappeared, I knew I was in a safe place. The staff makes every effort to make sure that you are comfortable. Group sessions with the counselors have taught me lessons that will be with me for life. I have learned more about myself in the short time I was at Cornerstone, than I have in my entire 32 years at of life

The average length of rehab is typically around 30 to 90 days. However, it is worth noting that the ideal length of rehab will vary from person to person, and it is important to choose a program that is tailored to your specific needs and goals.

The minimum length of rehab is usually a few days, although some programs may be shorter. These shorter programs are often referred to as “detox” programs, and they are designed to help the individual safely withdraw from the substance they are addicted to.

The maximum length of rehab is usually several months, although some programs may last longer. These longer programs are often referred to as “residential” programs, and they typically involve a more intensive level of treatment.

When you finish a rehab program, the next step is to create an aftercare plan that will keep your recovery on track. By seeking ongoing support and preparing for any potential challenges ahead of time, you can build a foundation for long-term success in sobriety. Rehab gives individuals the opportunity to learn life skills so they are better able to maintain their mental and physical well-being over time.

At our rehab center, the cost of drug and alcohol rehab can vary depending on the type of treatment being provided and the length of stay. Many insurance plans cover some or all of the cost of rehab, and we can help you verify your insurance to determine your coverage. If you have questions about the cost of rehab or how to pay for it, please don’t hesitate to contact us for more information.
